It’s a straightforward, dependable, and private app that lets you easily communicate with your friends and family. WhatsApp is available on mobile and desktop devices, and there are no subscription fees.
WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.13.6, iOS, and Desktop now allows users to send files up to 2GB in size. End-to-end encryption protects your personal messages and calls to friends and family. Nobody, not even WhatsApp, can read or listen to your chats.
You can make free secure video and voice calls to up to 8 people. Your calls work across mobile devices by utilizing the Internet service provided by your phone, even over slow connections. You can only share your location with those in your individual or group chat, and you can stop sharing at any time. It connects you quickly and enables you to record a voice message. Status allows you to post text, video, photo, , and GIF updates that are deleted after 24 hours. You can choose to share status updates with all or just a subset of your contacts.

What is WhatsApp rename linked devices feature?
Businesses will be able to connect and name up to ten devices to the same WhatsApp account, and they will also be able to create a personal custom business link. WhatsApp is now allowing business accounts that use the latest versions of WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS to rename linked devices. We’d be able to rename linked devices now:
This is possible immediately after connecting a new device to our WhatsApp account, or later by going to WhatsApp Settings > Linked Devices > Device > Name.
Another business tool that helps businesses understand who the device belongs to is the ability to assign a custom name to our linked devices, which is not available to standard WhatsApp accounts.
Features
- If you choose a custom name for a linked device, it is private and cannot be seen by your customers.
- Even though the screenshot is from the WhatsApp Business beta for Android, the same feature has been made available to some businesses on the WhatsApp Business beta for iOS.
- WhatsApp is also launching a redesigned interface for Linked Devices on iOS and Android, which will be available for business accounts.
